Natural Child Birth Class

We are big advocates of learning about the birthing process so that you are empowered to make decisions that are best for your baby and yourself. The more we learned, the more we wanted to know, and the more confident we became that we could have our baby without an epidural or other medical interference unless it became medically necessitated. We took a 12-week Husband Coached Childbirth class where we lived in Maryland during which we learned so much about the laboring woman’s body, practiced relaxation techniques, and grew as a couple.

After sharing the amazing birthing experience we wanted to tell everyone about it! We decided to take the teacher training together and are currently in the final phase of becoming accredited teachers and doula (a professional who can be a labor support person and care for the new family in their first days if desired). We hope to share the knowledge we’ve learned with everyone interested in having a natural childbirth in the Grass Valley, Nevada City, Auburn areas! Please see our class schedule if you’re interested.
